The Queensland Police Health and Recreation Association (QPHRA) was established in 1990. It was created to support Queensland Police employees to live a healthy and active life.

Strong officers mean a strong police service.

The QPHRA supports members through the provision of gym equipment in stations and a fully equipped fitness centre at the police headquarters in Brisbane, servicing approximately 2000 officers and staff.

We also offer a free fitness training App for all Queensland Police officers and staff, sponsor various healthy living programs and provide personalised health and fitness advice.

The QPHRA is a not-for-profit organisation. Our work is funded through the management of café rights at the Queensland Police headquarters and the exclusive Queensland Police Service merchandise range.

All proceeds from these products and services go directly back into supporting our officers through our health and fitness initiatives.
